A few months ago Boston started being a real stinker. We had tried job charts and allowance in the past, so we decided to give it another shot. I asked Boston if there was something he really wanted and he picked out a nice new baseball glove. He started saving for it and it became a great bargaining tool, he earned money for helping around the house, doing chores, etc. And he got money taken away if he threw fits, was mean to Savy....you get the picture. Anyway, today he asked if we could count the money in his piggy bank, and he had enough money for the glove. So, we went out to lunch as a family and then Trav took him to get the glove. He was super excited! Right when we got home the boys headed out to play ball. Here are a few shots of our little slugger.

Thanks Dad!!!!

The next big part of our day was taking Savannah to get her ears pierced. My sister Megan talked me into piercing her ears, so we decided to take her after her nap. I was probably more nervous, than her because I didn't know if she would freak out and yank the earrings out. I was presently surprised. Our tough as nails baby girl didn't even cry!
This looks worse than it really was by far! I had to hold her head and arms still so she wouldn't move around too much.
It is hard to see the little arrings, but she looks so cute! Aunt Meggie bought the kids suckers and she was loving that, so I don't think she even payed attention to any pain, if there was any.

Oh Linds... so cute! That will be fun! Both kids look so happy and fun today! YAY! Love you all!
What a fun week. You and your sisters are so cute! It took me back to the good old days! You are all drop dead gorgeous, seriously!
I love little girls with pierced ears! Ansen is so against it. I keep thinking about doing Addie's and I really think I should do both girls at the same time because it's going to be worse for Addison then it ever will be for Olivia since she won't remember. So cute though.
I had Haleigh's done when she was 6 months. I got so much crap for it from my family...mostly my grandma...."If God wanted holes in a baby's ears...he would have put them there!" But after having two boys before my little princess...I did EVERYTHING possible to make her look like a girly girl. Your kids are very cute!
Linds I just checked out your blog. So cute! I am getting mine up and running so I can be a blogger. I am not as high tec as kiley but she will help me. Give Bosty and Savannah a big hug for us.
How old is she? I pierced my girl's ears when she was 6 mths. It was so hard. She cried hard but then she went right to sleep after that.
