Where has the summer gone??? These past few months have gone by way too fast for me! Summer is by far my favorite season...sleeping in, vacations, hanging out by the pool, friends, family....I love it all!!!
I asked my kids what they wanted to do during their last week of summer vacation and the top things on their list were.....swimming (check) and playing with cousins and friends (check, check.) Easy enough, plus we've tried to work in some other fun too.
As much as I love summer, I also love how excited my kiddos are to start school! They are so excited about their new school clothes and supplies and are counting down the days until school starts!
Since it has been over 100* this past week, and we can't spend every minute at the pool, Trav got this fun sprinkler/ball and hooked it up so the kids could jump with it. The kids were loving it!
My kids have also been begging me forever to "make" crayons. So, we got a bunch of our old crayons and the kids and I got to work unwrapping them so we could melt them. When the wax cooled, we used cookie cutters to make new shapes.
Fun, easy little project that the kiddies loved!
