{one year older...}

On Tuesday I turned the big 3-0!!! I have to say I've been a little depressed about leaving my 20's, maybe because I don't feel that old, not that 30 is old, but just saying it makes me feel old. I've been thinking about all of the amazing things that have happened in the last ten years.....Travis and I met, and were married, we've had our three beautiful kids, moved six times, been through quite a few church callings, job changes, to name a few. I think about how much I feel like I have learned and grown over the past decade too. It makes me think, I have that much more to look forward to in my 30's!

I've had a great birthday week...we like to celebrate our birthday's as long as we can around here. Here are some of the birthday highlights from the past week....

On Saturday, Travis planned a great dessert party at our house with our family and good friends. My super talented SIL, Heather, made the most amazing cake!!! We had a great turn out and it was a lot of fun!

On Sunday, my cute primary class surprised me and sang "Happy Birthday" to me when I walked into the classroom. It made my day! Then I got my "Bishop Buck" when the whole primary sang to me in sharing time.

On Monday, I went with a group of my girlfriends to Z-Tejas for dinner to celebrate both mine and my friend Amber's birthdays. When I got home Travis surprised me with my present...a new jogging stroller!

On Tuesday, my real birthday, Travis watched the kids in the morning so I could go get a pedicure with a friend. Then Travis and I went to lunch and I got to do a little shopping. Our friends invited us over for a yummy dinner, and cake and ice cream.
