A few months after we moved into this ward, Travis was called as the ward mission leader. He was prepped that it would be a very dedicated and time consuming calling. It definitely is all of that, he would say, but he also mentions how rewarding it is. Travis is such a great people person, and is so great with the Elders and all of the investigators. Since the month of April we have had seven new member baptisms in our ward. It has been so great to get to know these new members and their families. We have also loved getting to know all of the missionaries. Seriously, these young men amaze me! Whenever they are in our home, you can feel the spirit and just know they are representitives of our Heavenly Father's church.
It is a new and rewarding experience for our family to be in the "mission field", and it allows us many chances to share our beliefs and love for the gospel with those around us.

That is so awesome! What could be more rewarding than witnessing other peoples lives change when they finally hear, "the best news on earth!" I bet Travis is awesome at his calling!
