Milestones and St. Patty's Day

We had a pretty chill St. Patty's Day celebration today, which is okay, because the kids fun school parties made up for it. Plus, Savy was totally over it after preschool, and said, "Mom, when can I change out of these green clothes." I told her if she didn't want to get pinched, she better keep them on, and that changed her mind pretty quick.
Savannah has been counting down the days for today....obviously not for St. Patrick's Day, but for Kindergarten registration. Today was SEP's for Boston, and kinder registration for Savy. Savannah is so excited to go to "Boston's school" that she can hardly wait. I think she really thought she started school today, and was worried about leaving Miss Denise, her preschool teacher. Luckily, we have a whole summer to be extra prepared.

Another milestone we have been working extra hard on at our house. (Second thoughts from us parents about giving Savannah such a long name to learn how to write!) She had no interest in learning to write it for the longest time, but now she's finally got it down and is ready for kindergarten!

Those silly leprechaun's did find their way to our house today and left some fun treasures around the house for the kiddos.

Such cute kids! Way to go Savannah on writing your name! We saw a lot of crazy St. Patty's day people on the slopes! Looks like you guys had a fun day! I wish we could have seen you more! It is always fun to hang out with you guys!

Joshua, too, was super-excited to register for kindergarten!

Benjamin's preschool teacher commented once to us that he was always the last one to finish his seatwork -- most of his classmates had names that were 4 letters or less. Once they added the last name (9 more letters!), it took a really long time!
