Travis and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary early by going on a Southern Carribean cruise last week. We flew to Puerto Rico and visited St. Thomas, Dominca, Grenada, Bonaire and Aruba. It was AMAZING and we had such a great time! We loved seeing so many places, relaxing, eating, laying out in the sun and spending the week together. Other than a few long days of plane travel, it was the perfect vacation! Thanks to Grammy and Papa Fitch, Ashlie and Papa Smith for watching our busy brood so we could enjoy a week away!
~Puerto Rico~
We sailed out of Puerto Rico. We loved relaxing out on the balcony of our room on the ship.

~Stars under the Stars~
One of our favorite things on the ship, was watching movies on the lounge chairs on the Lido deck under the stars. We caught up on all of the new release movies we hadn't seen, like "Tron". They would come around each night serving popcorn, pizza and cookies and milk.
~Dominica~
Dominica was probably our favorite island that we visited. It is a rainforest, so it is so lush and green. We took an open air taxi tour of the island and it was gorgeous!
The hot springs. We were able to get in the warm water at the hot springs, but we didn't want to be smelling like sulphur all day, so we didn't really swim in the water like most people did.

Trafalgar Falls was another stop on our tour. We took a hike up to the falls and it was amazing!

~Grenada~

A view of Grenada. We didn't do much in Grenada, but we did buy a bunch of spices, since it is known as the "spice" island. There is a ton of poverty there and it was a little scary, because so many people come up to offering to sell you a million things, or to be your tour guide for the day. So we just walked around for a bit and then headed back to the boat to lay out, who knew you could get FRIED on such an overcast day. ;)
~Bonaire~

We were hoping to rent a scooter to cruise around the island and go to the beach, but they were all sold out everywhere we tried. So, we ended up walking to Eden beach which ended up being like a 45 minute walk, instead of the 10 minute walk we were told it was. So, that is probably why we both look so sweaty and tired in the pictures.
