Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful Moms out there! I am so grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful women in my life! I am continually inspired and in awe of all of the great examples that are in my life.

I saw a cute idea on a few blogs listing some of the things they love about being a mom. So here is my take why I love being a mother......

1. Mid-night cuddles- Now that our kids are way passed the sleepless newborn stage, I LOVE the occasional late night snuggles from my kids. Bad dreams to tummy aches, just that feeling that they still need me melts my heart.

2. Seeing my kids do great things- From finally grasping a new math concept, learning to write their exceptionally long name, being a good friend, or potty training. I grin from ear to ear knowing in some small way I helped them in their accomplishments.

3. Seeing my handsome hubby and I raising our brood together. We have so much fun together and love doing things as a family. I feel like as our kids grow, our relationship as a couple grows stronger. We have been through so much in the past ten years and I'm so grateful that we can be together forever as a family.

4. Shopping for my mini-me's- This is totally a cheese-ball one, but seriously is their anything cuter than Tiny Toms and Mini-skinnies! I am definitely a shopper, even though Trav wishes I wasn't. I think I really do love shopping for my kids more than my self most of the time!

5. Seeing our kids personalities shine- All three of our kids are so different! It is so fun to see each of them grow and develop. I love how they are complete individuals and they each have such cute and different personalities.

Those are the first fewthat came to mind, but there are many more reasons I love being a mom! I am so grateful for the chance to raise three of our Heavenly Father's precious children. I can't help but tear up every time I think that our Father in Heaven has trusted me to care for and raise these special little ones. I feel so blessed to be their mom! I am so far from perfect, but I hope I can do my best to raise them and prepare them for the road ahead!
