My dad was really looking forward to some good Texas BBQ, so we headed to the Salt Lick for dinner one night. We ran into so many BYU fans, since this place is a must visit on many tourists lists. Jimmer even tweeted that he was there, but somehow we missed him.
Meg's wanted a picture of us by the smoker, one of the employee's invited us back behind the counter for an up-close shot. It was pretty cool, but being any closer didn't convert me into being a bigger meat eater-although I am trying.
After dinner we took the crew to another hot spot- Kawaii's shave ice. The root beer icee with cream is THE best!
