Belize

We had heard Belize was most peoples favorite port, but not so kid friendly.  So, we decided to leave the kids on the ship at the kids club, then headed out just the two of us.  The boat was anchored out in the ocean, and we had to take a 20 minute tender ride to the island.  We heard about the cool zip line and cave tubing excursions there, and wanted to give it a try.  We found a tour and waited around for it to leave, after almost an hour, we still didn't leave and they weren't planning to leave for another hour until it was full.  So, we decided to just get our money back and head back to the spa on the ship.  Good choice and I think we both enjoyed a little pampering in the ships spa instead too!
Here is our only picture taken in Belize.....

The kids had pirate night and had the cutest face paint.  They were so sad they had to wash it off!

The kids thoroughly enjoyed ordering off the menu and trying new things all week.  They loved to end their extravagant meals with a yummy banana split!

We had the nicest stateroom steward too!  Rudy always left the kids extra chocolates on their pillows and made these fun towel animals for them to find each night.

I talked to the kids teachers before the trip and they sent along any schoolwork they might miss during the week.  So, everyday I still had them read and work on homework.  I know, mean right, but at least they weren't behind in school when we got back!
