The day Boston finished school we headed down to sunny Arizona. Trav flew down with us and spent a much needed long weekend down there, and then the kids and I stayed another week after he left. It was so nice down there and we had a blast! The kids have so much fun with their cousins, and we packed as much as we could into each day there. I took a million pictures, like usual...it was a much needed vacation and it is always hard to come home and get back to reality!

Grammy & Papa made a DELICIOUS breakfast on Saturday morning...here is Boston and Savannah with Bronson, Blake and Bryson.
Megan came down and spent the following weekend with us, and helped me fly home with the kiddies too.
Denny & Nichole just built a beautiful house.....and their new neighbors own some waterparks down in Arizona. So, they have this massive blow-up waterslide in their backyard and we were lucky enough to get an invite to swim over at their house one day. Seriously, how amazing is that slide??? I wish I would have taken a shot of the kids being catapulted into the pool at the end of the slide, it was pretty funny.

Thanks again Mom & Dad and Barney clan for the fun week! We had so much fun down there...endless game nights, shopping adventures, Golden Spoon, to name a few. So fun!!!! The only downfall, of the trip, my aunt Rosemarie and our family friend Patti came to visit for a few days and while touring Denny & Nichole's new house, Patti tripped and landed wrong on her arm and broke her humerus bone. They had to cut their trip short and fly right back to Utah, so Patti could have surgery on her arm. We are so sorry Patti and we hope you heal fast and are feeling better soon!

So glad you could get away for a good and needed vacation and be with your family. So sorry we had a bit of turn of events that changed our plans was so looking forward to more time with family, thank you for your concern for Patti she is improving daily.

Wow, what a fun trip! We are sooo envious of the time you get to spend with family. But just a little over a year from now we will be home and have some fun with you too. We love our mission more and more everyday, but can't wait to see and be with the family again.
