First Day of School

WOW!!! I can't believe summer is really over and school has already started again. I have to admit, I am so sad to see my favorite season end! Now it is back to the old routines, plus homework and getting up early, and we have been doing a lot of sleeping in around here, so this is a tough one!

BUT, I do love how excited Boston is about first grade! He has a great teacher and some good friends in his class too. (Five kids from our neighborhood alone!) Boston came home just beaming about his first day. He was so excited about staying all day long and having his own desk to put all of his school supplies in. Boston decided that he wanted a backpack/messenger bag for school this year, I don't know where he got that one, but he loves it. It's still hard for me to believe that we have a first grader!!!

I volunteered to help out at the first grade lunch today and it was so fun to see Boston with his buddies. They all had smiles from ear to ear the whole lunch hour. I think it is going to be a fun year for Boston in first grade!
