Boston started Jr. Jazz this week. He as been counting down the days to the first game. His cousin Tanner and friend Drew are on his team. It was so fun to watch how excited the boys were when they got their jerseys and started practicing on the court. They practiced for the first part and Boston did well dribbling down the court and made a few shots too. Boston was all smiles....until the game started and he broke down. The poor kid was in tears almost the whole game. He kept coming up with different reasons why he didn't want to play, so we ended up leaving early to end the traumatic scene he was causing. Tanner felt bad and brought Boston a candy bar after the game and told him what a great game he played. It was so cute!
Boston slept in his jersey and went out to "practice" with his buddies the next day after school. He keeps asking when his next game is, so lets hope it was just first game jitters and the next game will be a lot better!

Oh my! So sad! What happened to our super star?
wow - that sounds JUST like Drew with his first soccer game recently. But I am happy to say it did get better once he had his first experience and first frustrations out of the way. Hopefully, Boston will have fun with it soon! Hang in there! :)
