{the merriest...}

Christmas was pretty chill for our little family, with both Travis and my parents not being here this year. Before bed on Christmas Eve, our tradition is to read Luke 2. It was neat because the kids are old enough to understand and help tell the story of Jesus' birth. We sang Christmas carols and left out cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
We had a quiet Christmas morning at home, which is not what we are used to, but it was kind of nice for a change. The kids were super excited, and I think Travis and I look forward to that the most on Christmas. Colston was throwing up all night, so he wasn't in the best of spirits. (I don't know why the flu bug always seems to make it's way to our house every Christmas.)
After presents, Trav took Boston and Savannah to breakfast at the Mann's house, while I stayed home with the sickie and cleaned up the house. Then we just hung out at home and watched movies and let the kids play all day. We had our own little Christmas dinner. It was a great day, spent together as a family! Merry Christmas everyone!
As if Santa coming wasn't enough excitement. Boston lost his first tooth on Christmas Eve and got a visit from the Tooth Fairy too.
The kids all asked for bikes from Santa.

Boston and Savannah have both had so much fun playing with all of their toys. The last two days have been great, because they have been thoroughly entertained.
