SnOw AnGeLs & GiNgErBrEaD HoUsEs

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here, not that it hasn't been freezing cold all week, but we had our first big snow storm this winter. The kids were so excited to get out and play in the snow, and why not since we didn't have church until 11:00am. They had so much fun making snow angels and attempting to ride their bikes through the snow. It was cold though, so they didn't last too long before they came in and wanted to take a hot shower.

Craig and Kailee came over for Sunday dinner, Kailee made a yummy homemade lasagna. After dinner we attempted to put together our gingerbread house, another one of our favorite Christmas traditions. Somehow, we always make the roof a little too top heavy and it ends up caving in, but oh well it makes for a nice snack, right?

You guys got a lot of snow! I miss it, up here we only got maybe 1/2 inch. Oh-well. Your kids sure look cute playing in it!

That's so funny. My kids ran outside Sunday as well. I hoped neighbors didn't think I was a bad mom but I guess since you let yours, I'm okay! We have yet to make our gingerbread house. I have all the stuff but will most likely do it Monday night for FHE.
