Travis had to head down to Las Vegas over the weekend for some work meetings, so at the last minute I decided to go along and make it a mini-vacation. We were both super sick with sinus infections, but looking forward to some down time. We left early Friday morning and when we got to the hotel Travis left for his meetings and I spent most of the day in bed, yuck!
I was feeling a little better by dinner time and we headed out to eat and then to see "Le Reve". It was an amazing show! (I love all of those Cirque de Soleil shows :)
We both crashed as soon as we got back to the hotel and were so excited to sleep in! When we did wake up we had both missed calls and texts from our family, letting us know that Kailee had gone in to labor. We decided to cut our trip short and head home. We had Ashlie on speaker at the hospital and were able to hear Roman's birth and cute little first cry!
