Each year we let our kids choose if they want a party, or if they would like the money that would have been spent on the party. For the second year in a row, Boston opted out of a friend party AND he decided instead of the money he wanted some "surprise" presents. Well, you know I can't really not throw some sort of party, so we had a little family party this week. We let the kids swim, while the weather held out, then had cake and ice cream and played games.

It took Papa Fitch quite a few tries to light all 8 candles before the wind blew them out, that's why everyone looks so concerned.
The Barney's gave Boston a fun game called "Headbandz" the kids were so excited and we had to play it right away.
Thanks to all who came, Boston sure is loved!!!

Wow...Chris' farmer's tan is AWESOME! Happy late b-day Boston and congrats on your baptism!! Way to go! Mom & Dad must be so proud!
