Stadium of Fire

We weren't planning on going to the Stadium of Fire this year, but my dad was given some tickets, so I couldn't pass up the chance to go. It was so HOT until the sun went down and I think I was sweating from every possible pore, but it was all worth it. David Archuleta and Brad Paisley were both great. The fireworks were the bomb, and I have to admit I always get a little teary when the fly-by kicks of the show. Such a great way to start off the holiday weekend!

Brad Paisley had 8 semi-trucks and 4 tour buses at the stadium. This dude is a performer and puts on a great show!

We went out to dinner before the show and Trav decided to stick around and park at the stadium to let the kids see the skydivers and the fly-by. They loved it and he almost bought tickets from some scalpers and brought them all in, then he realized that might not be so fun with three little kids.

Great shot, not knowing the lens was zoomed in. (Sorry Megs had to throw this one in there.)

That's a little better ;)

The fly over is one of my favorite things about the fourth. We were at Jessica's for Emma's first birthday party while you guys were at the Stadium and so we got to see the fly over eight times as they prepared to go over the stadium, SO MUCH FUN! Being there with most of my family and watching that was perfect. We were told that the event started late so they were on a holding pattern that just happened to go over Jessica's house, "Mormon Standard Time" paid off for us.
