Boston and Savannah have been counting down the days until school started! They have adjusted really well, made some great new friends and love their new teachers! Savannah loves all day kindergarten, and even though it's super quiet around here, it has been really nice to get some things done. Colston asks a million times a day when his buddies will be home from school. Somehow, I got roped into being the home room mom in both kids classes. Supposedly it's quite a bit of work, so I didn't sign up knowing I still have my busy little sidekick still at home. But, I got a call from both kids teachers this week asking me to do it, so I couldn't turn them down. I do love being involved in the kids classes so I am excited!
The first week of school has been great! You know your kids are loving school when they are a little bit sad it's the weekend. Here's to a great school year!
I signed up to help Savy's kinder class with lunch on the first day of school. It was so fun to see her in action at school, my little girl is growing up way to fast! (p.s- she's chomping on a green pepper, so you can see it through her cute smile!)
