Our goal this summer was to try and experience Austin as much as we could! There are so many fun things to do in the area and summertime is the perfect time to enjoy it!
There are a ton of fun city pools and Splash Pads around. This one is just a few minutes from our house and is a great place to cool off!
Dad did an extreme pool workout one Saturday at the pool. He did some awesome yoga stretches after! ;)
We had a swim play date every Tuesday with our friends. Jenny's parents have this awesome snow cone machine and the kids LOVE it!
We went with our friends the Rowles to the Veteran's Memorial Pool! Another one of our favorites!
We couldn't pass up the free Slurpee's on 7-11!
Baby Brielle was born! She is such a doll!
Another day, another splash pad! This day the boys were sporting their awesome colored gel after just getting hair cuts!
Heather turned 30! Todd threw her an awesome party on a houseboat on Lake Austin!
We went to the Metzer Pool in Pflugerville for some Saturday afternoon fun!
Trav turned 34! We celebrated with Bob and Kathie and had dinner at Jack Allen's Kitchen! YuM!!!
Boston went to Utah with Grammy and Papa and these two crazies learned to entertain themselves!
We went to explore the Austin Science and Nature Center!
I think we saw every kid movie that came to theaters....gotta beat the heat somehow!

We went to Barton Springs Pool, another must see! The water is FREEZING! But it is such a fun place. The kids loved jumping off the diving board!
Then we tried out Rita's Ice downtown. So good!

Savy and I got pedicures with Heather and Lilah! So fun, the girls were in heaven!
