Our kids have been so excited to go to the pumpkin patch that our neighbors own. So, yesterday we finally made it over there to pick out some pumpkins. The kids loved being able to pick out there own pumpkins and have Brother Anderson cut them right off the vine for them. We aren't so into the carving tradition, and the kids are really content just to keep checking the porch a million times a day to make sure their pumpkins are still there.
It has been SUPER cold this past week, but I love the Fall!
I had to post this picture so you could see Savy's poor black eye. A few days ago, Boston accidently nailed her with a plastic bowling pin and this was the damage.

How cute! We still have not gone to get our pumpkins. And poor Savy's eye... I think we all get one of those sooner or later.
I will add you to my list. I probably won't send the invitation out for a few weeks so watch for it. We need to get together sometime.
Ya, we didn't quite make it there tonight...it was dark before Darrin got home, so we are baggin' it until later, but I'm excited to go!
We got our pumpkins, in fact one of the little ones has already been broken and then replaced with a new one because of the devastation. We will carve a pumpkin probably, and the rest will just sit out until Thanksgiving or until they rot, which ever one happens first!
Poor Savy! I love the photo though and not because of that, but just because it is so cute of the kids.
Looks like so much fun! I love fall! I can't believe Savy's eye! He must of nailed her. We hope to see you soon! It has been way to long!
What a fun tradition! Savy looks so cute, even with her little black eye. :)
Poor Savy but it is a darling picture. It was a shock to come back to the cold and see all of my plants dead. Still up for some zucchini bread?
Oh how I love fall! Probably my favorite season!! And Savy's eye, even though you told me, a picture is worth a thousand words!! So sorry! But sounds like it was so fun!
So fun linds!! I seriously can't believe Savy's eye! Poor little thing :( Let's play this week for sure! xoxoxo
