Colston is officially four months old and that means rice cereal time! I have this theory, backed up by my pediatricians and lots of articles I have read of course, about when the right time to introduce solids to infants is. They say that if you start by feeding rice cereal right at four months and slowly introduce other solids that it helps to prevent food allergies and makes your kids less picky. I have done this with both Boston and Savannah and so far they are not allergic to any foods and will seriously eat anything. People are amazed at the things they eat, they love to snack on fruits and veggies and will try anything. It's funny because in the last few weeks Colston has really started to notice when we are eating meals, and gets super fussy, like he is missing out on something. So, I couldn't wait to start feeding him rice cereal. He couldn't figure out what to do with the cereal in his mouth at first, but after a couple of nights he is getting the hang out it, and liking it. So here's hoping that the third time is a charm and we have another good eater!

What a cute boy! I'll have to remember that when it's my turn. :)
You are LUCKY you have good eaters! Parker is HORRIBLE and I'm just crossing my fingers that the twins are better then him. they are eater solids now and have loved everything they have tried so far(Parker didn't like anything except sweet potatoes when he was a baby) so at least I have a little hope!
