HaWAii

For my birthday Travis decided he wanted to take me on a trip, and I got to pick the place. My choice was a nice relaxing trip to Hawaii. So, Trav planned out everything....he made all of the arrangements and flew my mom up to watch the kids for the week. After a weekend of celebrating with my family, we were off to Oahu. We stayed at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore and it was amazing! Our room had a nice ocean view, and we spent a lot of time just relaxing and hanging out by the pool and the ocean. The weather was perfect all week long. We fit lots of sight seeing in and had a great week being together. It has been a while since we have left the kids, so by the end of the week we really missed them, but it was a much needed vacation! Thanks mom for watching the kids, and Megan, Craig & Kailee, Karlie & Dave for helping out too! We have the best family and we appreciate you all so much!

I had so much fun learning how to use it. I took over 200 pictures during our trip. I am just a beginner, and I can't wait to take some photography classes so I become a better photographer.

Every afternoon you would see a swarm of people crowded together in the bay at the beach. A few sea turtles would swim really close to the shore and I got some fun pictures, they were so cute up close.

We loved the restaurant Duke's when we were in Kauai last year, and we ate there like three times. They have one in Waikiki too, so we drove down for my birthday dinner. It is so good, their salad bar is to die for. They brought out this Hula Pie for my birthday dessert. It was DELISH!
