Pearl Harbor

We were excited to go back to Pearl Harbor on this trip. Last time we went, the tickets for the Arizona Memorial were gone for the day, so we made sure to go earlier in the morning and we were able to get right in. First, they show a really neat film about the bombing of Pearl Harbor and then you take a ferry over to the memorial. It was really neat, and almost surreal to think that something like that happened so unexpectedly and over 2,000 Americans lost their lives that day.

Doesn't that film really make you think?

This is a very solemn experience for me and i have been there twice. Even a bit more meaning knowing that my Dad was in the Pacific Theatre in WW II.
