The PCC

We spent a whole day at the Polynesian Cultural Center and it was a lot of fun. It was neat to learn about all of the different cultures and traditions in each country. We went around to all of the exhibits and shows and saw the canoe pageant. Then we ate dinner at the Luau, took a tram tour of the temple grounds and then finished off the night with the great night show.
Hangin' loose

This guy from Samoa was hilarious! He is starting a fire in this picture. He was making us laugh the whole time. He is also the fire dancer in the night show and was so cool to watch.

Sporting my tattoo from Fiji, not permanent don't worry, but atleast I was tough for a day.

The Samoan float in the canoe pageant.

Trav and I at the luau

Carrying in the pig that had been cooking all day in the fire pit.

Trav and I at the temple. Last time we came the temple was closed for 2 weeks for cleaning, and this time it is closed for remodeling until July 2010. I guess they had just painted the temple white again the day before, and it looks so pretty. So, hopefully next trip we take the temple will be open again!

BEAUTIFUL!!!!
