Ugly Sweater Party

We like to poke fun at all the fancy Christmas sweaters we see people sporting every year. So, we held our first annual ugly sweater party. I think putting together our outfits was just as much fun as the party itself. We searched DI and Goodwill and found some sweet sweaters. The whole family was outfitted in their Christmas get-ups. We even got creative with the little boys sweaters and decorated them ourselves. Just wearing the sweaters wasn't enough, so we headed out to dinner at Gecko Grill. People were giving us laughs and confused looks, someone even asked me if we were having family pictures taken. Seriously???

After dinner we headed back to the Barney's house and had dessert and played games. It was so much fun and hopefully a tradition that will continue every year.
