Yep, it's a scorpion!!! I thought we were safe from those nasty little suckers, since we live in a nice, green, hilly area, but I guess was wrong! Today, we were walking in from picking Boston up from school and I seriously screamed so loud when I saw it on our garage stairs. Boston and Savannah were so intrigued and I had to convince them to keep their distance. I told Boston to kill it, because I am totally afraid of any creepy, crawly things. So, he grabbed his metal baseball bat and started whacking at the nasty thing. He got it in one shot, and then kept pounding it to make sure he was a goner. I am still freaking out and checking everywhere thinking I am going to find more scorpions now. I am sure I will have nightmares and imagine scorpions crawling on me in my sleep! I guess it's the price you pay for living in the desert! I wouldn't trade this 75* weather, it has been gorgeous outside and we are soaking up every minute of it!Thursday, March 11, 2010
Are you kidding me???

Call a pest control person. My mother-in-law has things done in Vegas regularly to combat the scorpions. At least it was outside the house instead of inside and a color you could recognize. Ann has marble floors and the color is the same as the tiny white scorpions that have made their way inside on a few occasions. Freaked me out because Caleb was just starting to crawl when we discovered them! Good luck!
YIKES! I would have nightmares too! I don't do creepy things either. I agree with Jessica- Call pest control!
Welcome to my life and all Arizonans..... I am so sorry that you have to live knowing you have those nasty things around your home!
Love your blog, your kids are getting so big.
Yikes!!! I would react just like you and way to go big brave one Boston!!!. Go for the Pest control, inside and out.
When we heard about the scorpion we had to come check it out on your blog! Luke and Ty said,"the scorpion looks cool!" I bet it looked much cooler after being brutally beaten to death by our big brave Boston!
WOW That's scary, I would have ran the other way, Way to go Boston for killing the ugly thing.
