Texas Independence Day

On March 2nd, Texas celebrates Independence day. They celebrate their independence from when they broke off from Mexico, not the USA, just in case you were confused. Boston's school celebrated by having a chili cook-off. They all dressed up in their Western gear and slaved away making their chili. The parents were invited to taste the chili at the end of the day. Boston's class won for "tastiest chili" and it sure was tasty!

God bless Texas is a common phrase in our home. Hilarious that y'all have lived there for a month and Bos looks like he's lived there is whole life in his little bandana! You will be committed Texans in no time!
