Poor Colsty has been so sick this past week. I think he has only been sick once before, and I have never seen him so miserable. He was so lathargic and whiny, which is so not like Colston. He had a fever of 105* at one point and I was freaking out! Luckily, our old pediatricians office has a nurse on call 24/7, so I called to talk to them. They reassured me that it was most likely a viral infection, like and ear infection, and I didn't need to rush him to an insta-care, like I was ready to do. We kept him pumped full of Motrin for about 4 days, and you could tell made him feel a ton better and his temperature would go back to normal. He is feeling lots better now, and scarfing down all of his food to make up for what he missed out on when he wasn't feeling so hot. We are all much happier and rested around here now, since we missed out on a few nights of good sleep too!

That's the worst! My Alli has that right now. Her fever has been 102.5 for the last 3 days! And she's just been laying around too. I finally took her in today and they said it was probably just viral. Her ears look good and she didn't have strep. So there wasn't anything they could do. That bug must be floating around. Utah to Texas is quite vast though. Sorry for the lengthy medical history, I just think it's interesting they probably have the same thing. Hope he gets feeling better soon!
