Boston started 1st grade at his new school this past week. The day before he started we went to the school and the counselor took us on a tour and we met his teacher and classmates. We LOVE the school, it is only a few years old has and the average class size is 16. The only drawback is the 7:45am start time, I guess we'll all learn to be morning people, right?Boston was a little nervous about starting at a new school, but when I picked him up he had lots of exciting things to tell me about his first day. He made some great new buddies already, in fact two of his friends are twins and live a few houses down from us. So, the boys have been playing together a lot already. The kids have been so great with the move, and have had such a great attitude, which I think really helps me too.

I am glad the transition went well for him! I can't believe you guys are gone, but I am sure you will come to love it there! Watch out for the summer, the humid heat is a whole different ballgame!
