We had a great Valentine's weekend. On Friday, Boston had his ice cream sundae party at school. We filled out his Valentine's and made his Valentine's box the night before. He was so excited to hand out his Valentine's to his friends. I'm so glad he's adjusted and that he is loving his new school.

On Saturday afternoon we decided to drive down to San Antonio to hang out with the O'Brien's. San Antonio is about an and hour and a half south of where we live. The kids had so much fun playing together. Aaron built this adorable pink playhouse in their backyard for their girls and Savy was in heaven playing with her new BFF Hallie. She keeps asking if we can go over and play with her, I wish they didn't live so far away. For dinner we all went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse, thank goodness for call ahead seating. The meal was delicious and we had a lot of fun!

On Sunday after church, we surprised the kids with a Valentine's Day scavenger hunt. They loved finding the clues all over the house and getting their prizes at the end. For dinner we made homemade "heart" shaped pizzas, they were yummy! Then for dessert the kids wanted to make chocolate dipped strawberries and homemade "heart" shaped oreos. Yep, we're festive! Travis said this was one of the best Valentine's Days we've had. I totally agree, usually we go out just the two of us, and make a whole big deal out of the holiday. This year it was nice just to spend the entire weekend as a family. It makes me realize how truly blessed I am to have such an amazing husband and kids. I love them all to death and I don't know what I would do without this crazy bunch!
