So I guess we brought the Utah weather with us when we moved to Texas. It hasn't snowed in Austin for over six years and yesterday we had a snowstorm. It is so weird because it was like 70* over the weekend, then it snowed, and now it's back to almost 60* again today. Crazy weather! They let half of the schools out early yesterday and then all of the schools started two hours late today. It cracked us up because the storm was really no big deal, but apparently they just aren't used to that kind of weather here and take extra "precautions." The kids had so much fun playing in the snow....snowmen, snowball fights and hot cocoa. Now bring on that warm spring-like weather I've been waiting for!

It's a good think you took your winter gear with you. I probably would have left it in Utah! Isn't it always warm in Texas? Miss you! Aren't you coming back for a visit soon?
